All orders that include a valid e-mail address will be sent an order confirmation of price by email, upon order confirmation. This is usually followed by a shipping notification. For most orders the shipping notification includes ship date, carrier and tracking number (if applicable).

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ORDER OF ANY TYPE FOR WHATEVER REASON.



Actual Shipping Charges applies to orders calcuated on website that needs to ship via FedEx; in case of oversized item(s), additional shipping costs may be requiered to ship, in this case a representative will call to notify you of any additional charges. Additional Processing Time is required for those type of orders.

Shipping delays caused beyond the shipper's (UPS, Federal Express, USPS, etc.) including, but not limited to, the following:  the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; Public authorities actuing with actual or apparent authority on the premises; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; riots, strikes, or other labor disputes; civil commotions, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks such as weather phenomena; and natural disasters, shall not be our responsiblitiy. Please contact the shipping company directly. The shipping company does not provide refund for shipping for these above cases, and nor can we for shipping charges if your packaged does not get delivered. Please note: Under some circumstances, an item requiring special order delivery may have account fees deducted prior to shipping of an order.

Returns

Defective/Damage Merchandise Policy
Please examine the outer box and all contents immediately upon receipt for any signs of defective/damage. All damage claims must be initiated within 5 days of delivery. Please e-mail us at support@AceHardwareSuperstore.com so that we can initiate a claim with the carrier. Defective/damaged merchandise can ONLY be replaced. No refunds will be accepted on merchandise that arrives defective or damaged.

Return Policy
Notify us by e-mail of your desire to return your purchase at support@AceHardwareSuperstore.com. We will issue you a return authorization number and email you our return address. You can return items in only new condition within 14 days and we will refund your money or exchange the item subject to return policy below. No refunds or exchanges on items that packaging has been opened and cannot be resold as new. We will issue refunds for the product only. Items purchased will have actual shipping charges deducted from the refund in addition to a 20% restocking fee on all merchandise returned. Why Do We Charge A Restocking Fee? The Restocking Fee helps reduce the "lending library" effect where some people "buy" things just to try them with no intention of keeping the item. Customers will incur the expense for returning the item.

No Refunds or exchanges for items in the categories below:

  • For your protection, please send your return via a shipping service that can be tracked, such as UPS or Fedex. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-trackable method such as USPS (First Class).     Products that arrive at our docks without a return authorization number, or do not meet the conditions set on our return policy will be refused or returned and will not be issued credit.

    Product Warranties
    Products come with a manufacturer's warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied. For warranty service, you must contact the manufacturer's authorized warranty service station closest to you. This information is available either with the material shipped with the product, or from the manufacturer directly.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRUCK SHPIMENTS

    You must be available for the next 5 business days when placing an order for truck delivery. Truck deliveries cannot be scheduled, however we can request that the trucking company to call before attempting delivery but they might not do so. A signature is required for all truck deliveries; someone must be available during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM) to sign for a truck delivery. Truck shipments are tailgate/dock delivery (the driver will bring the item(s) to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in bringing the item(s) inside). You must have AT LEAST 2-4 able-bodied people present to unload the merchandise that you are ordering. While some truck drivers are kind enough to help, they are not required to help you lift the products. Truck deliveries typically require 1-3 additional days for delivery. Note any visible damage on the bill of landing/delivery ticket before signing for the shipment. Any claims for damaged or missing items must be made at the time of delivery. See guidelines in the next section.

    Lift Gate Service: If you do not have the equipment or manpower, you can order a special truck equipped with a hydraulic lift to safely lower the product from the truck to the ground called Lift Gate Service. Lift Gate Service lowers freight item from the truck to the curb only.

    Inside Delivery: Inside delivery is available in most areas for an additional charge. Inside Delivery means inside the threshold. The driver will not carry it upstairs and put it in your bedroom for you. Contact us at Toll-Free:1 (888) 230-2323 or by email to support@acehardwaresuperstore.com for a shipping quote. Be sure to include the item numbers of the items you are inquiring about in your email. Inside delivery would add on average $175 to your total shipping cost depending upon size of your order and location.

    Residential Delivery: What this really means is that delivery will be made to a location that does NOT have a freight dock and/or a full time receiving department such as a residential home.

    IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

    It is very IMPORTANT YOU READ THIS SECTION IN ITS ENTIRELY TO AVOID ANY POTENTIAL PROBLEMS WITH THE TRUCKING COMPANY. In keeping with the high quality of service we provide our valued customer, acehardwaresuperstore.com will assist in filing and negotiating all freight loss or damage claims. The following guidelines will not only aid in the claim process, but will also allow for speedier replacement or credit adjustments. If you choose to accept delivery without following these guidelines, but later determines the contents are missing or damaged, you will have to keep the merchandise up to 45 days at your location, so the trucking company can perform an inspection without any guarantee that will approve it. In most cases they will deny it automatically without any inspection.

    Overall, it is better to refuse a damaged delivery, then to accept it. If these guidelines are followed, we will most likely ship a replacement to you within 48 hours while we handle the claim with the trucking company. Sometimes we will request a signed inspection report from you to be faxed to us before reshipment.

    1. Inspect freight BEFORE YOU SIGN. Freight drivers are professionals, however, they have a lot of stops to make and sometimes appear to be in a hurry. The driver must wait for you to complete the inspection. If you have any problems with a driver, notify us immediately. You will find his employee identification number at the bottom of your delivery receipt.
    2. Count the pieces received against the driver's delivery receipt.
    3. Note any discrepancies in writing on the delivery receipt. Be specific: identify or describe the missing item(s).
    4. Inspect the freight for visible damages such as holes in boxes, water damage, dents, or anything else and verify the entire contents of the order.
    5. Note on the freight bill any obvious damage at the time of delivery (i.e. box corners crushed, tears, rips, marks, etc.) Again, be specific with details and note exactly what is damaged.
    6. If you suspect internal damage, OPEN IMMEDIATELY! Even if no damaged goods is suspected, open the carton and make a thorough inspection.
    7. You have the choice of refusing or accepting a damaged shipment. If the damage is major, refuse the shipment. If the damage is minor and damaged parts appeared to be replaceable, consider accepting the shipment and put clearly note the nature and extent of damage on the carrier’s copy and the delivery copy of the freight bill. You can also refuse the damaged boxes and accept the undamaged boxes. If the driver refuses, then refuse the entire delivery then have the driver note the nature and extent of damage on the carrier’s copy and the delivery copy of the freight bill.
    8. If you can not open the packages for inspection for whatever reason or you have any doubts, you MUST sign "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" next to your signature on the delivery receipt. If you do not, you are liable for any damages and shortages. If any box is damaged beyond repair, please refuse the damaged box.
    9. If the driver does not want to wait, sign the delivery receipt with the notation “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION. DRIVER REFUSES TO WAIT.” When you find concealed damage after the driver leaves, the trucking line ordinarily pays only a fraction of the cost of shipping damage. This is why it is important to inspect the contents while the driver is waiting or to include the notation “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION. DRIVER REFUSES TO WAIT” with your signature on the bill of lading.
    10. Any problems or questions, please call us immediately at 1 (888) 230-2323 so we can assist you. Damage claims must be filed with the trucking company within five business days.

    Bear in mind that you are signing a legal document when you are signing the freight delivery receipt under the statement "received in good condition except as noted" or "received piece(s) above described in good order except as noted." acehardwaresuperstore.com accepts no financial burden caused by failure to follow these guidelines. We will gladly assist in replacing damaged goods in a timely manner if the above steps are followed. By following these guidelines, it will prevent potential problems and resolve any issues quickly.
